Useless Facts
My Dilemma
Okay, I am avoiding the writing process like its the plague. There will be no work tonight I figure let’s throw out some useless facts. Here we go!
The useless facts
- On average, 100 people choke to death on ballpoint pens every year.
Seriously, why are we putting pens in our mouths anyway?
- On average people fear spiders more than they do death.
Really? I know they can be scary, but I will, without a doubt, squash a spider with my barefoot before I fear it more than death.
- Thirty-five percent of the people who use personal ads for dating are already married.
How sad is that? As if dating were notsucky enough. I think we like to torture ourselves!
- A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.
This should have been in the tongue post.
- Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.
Seriously I did not know about the eye thing but my nose better not get any bigger!
- The electric chair was invented by a dentist.
I have nothing to say about this except I really hate the dentist.
- Nutmeg is extremely poisonous if injected intravenously.
Should probably not tell my husband this. I can be very annoying.
- A snail can sleep for three years.
Oh my god, I think I’m a snail #worried
- No word in the English language rhymes with
“MONTH”.
I sat here 20 minutes really trying to prove this one wrong. I know I don’t have a life you don’t need to remind me.
- The cigarette lighter was invented before the
match.
We are officially a very stupid species. Why would you create a match if you already have a lighter?
- Americans on average eat 18 acres of pizza every
day.
This one made me laugh. 18 acres! Come on people!

I love ?this. The useless facts are pretty interesting. Great job..
