Aiden’s Curse: Fateful Encounters

The first book release

My first book, Fateful Encounters, part of the Aiden’s Curse series, is officially released! It is currently available in ebook and paperback format. I am presently working out the details on the audiobook. The goal at present is to have the audio format available on Amazon within 3 months. That timeline is very tentative though as Aiden’s Curse: Not Alone Anymore is very much underway as well.

Audio Format?

So where do things stand currently on Fateful Encounters being converted into audio format? Well, I have done a lot of research and have decided to excitedly attempt to narrate the work myself. I think knowing the characters and the content, I am the best person for the job. However, I am concerned that my voice may not be the best choice for the role and I have never done narrative work before. Thoughts and opinions on the matter are welcome! I am still going to move forward a bit in the attempt and see how things go. I have constructed, with the help of my wonderful husband, an audio booth and acquired the equipment and software that I will need to produce a great piece of work for my readers. Updates to come on the matter as I dive further into things.

Where is book number 2?

I am also working on Not Alone Anymore. The goal is to have it released, barring unforeseen issues, within the next 5 months. I am loving the path the book is taking and can not wait for the end. I have my own intentions in mind but strangely as I move through a story in my head it sometimes seems to change itself and things go a different way. That was certainly the way Fateful Encounters went. One day I knew things would go this way then I would start writing and before I knew it something else would happen and it just felt right so I would go with it. For me, letting the story evolve as it will is better than forcing an idea that began early in the planning stage. I am anxious to see where this book goes.
